This paranormal romance blew my mind! The setting was perfectly described, and the work Tallulah does at the hotel tells you the author knows what she's talking about. Same with the paranormal side of things. It's a very solid, well thought out and researched story! I really appreciate when authors take the time to sit down and look into the complex themes they decide to write about.
Anyway, Tallulah comes to Hotel Labelle for an inspection to decide the fate of this old hotel. What she finds is the limbo-stuck innkeeper, Stewart. Cursed by a witch (or medicine woman) many years ago, he is unable to live nor die.
Beautiful Tallulah gives Stewart attention he hasn't had in years, but she's there for business, regardless of the fact that no one has been able to see him since the curse.
What could this mean?
Is Tallulah the missing half he's been forced to wait for??
I found this story very interesting for several reasons. For one, it's not your typical ghost/living romance. Stewart isn't dead. He just needs to learn a lesson. Whether he can move on or not from a past lover will decide his and Tallulah's fate. For two, Stewart is an oblivious little dork who doesn't even realize he's in love! Sometimes this concept can be over played, but I loved the way the author wrote this!
This a very good leisure read. It's got a steady pace that holds your interest by descriptive words and a unique plot!
Very endearing story line with just as endearing, hot headed characters you instantly love! I recommend this for people who love unique paranormal romance novels!
